For 6 servings 1 onion - 1 garlic pod - 6 basil leaves - 3 fresh mint sprigs - 3 tins of sardines in olive oil - 250 g fromage frais spread - salt and pepper

Sardine rillettes

Preparation : 30 min

• Peel the onion and cut into 6. • Peel the garlic pod. Drain the sardines and remove the central fishbone. Put in a blender with the onion, garlic, basil and mint leaves, and the fromage frais. • Season with the salt and pepper then mix to a smooth spreading consistency. • Chill for 1 hour before serving. Accompany with a few fresh tomatoes.
